Visitor centers, heritage sites, museums, sound-and-light shows, guidance and advertising screens.
Your screens will speak to every visitor, in their language, on their phone.
No app to download, no devices to maintain, no signup and no barriers. Visitors scan a QR code from the screen, pick a language, and the audio plays on their phone in perfect sync with the screening, along with word-by-word captions.
World of Wonder: a live exhibition, right now
Four real display stations running at this very moment. Pick a station, open it on your phone and join the shared screening.
A live show: you run the hall
For timed shows and screenings, one operator controls everything from a phone: a shared countdown start, pause, resume and hall language switching. Try it yourself: press Start on the panel and watch the screen respond.
On mobile you experience the visitor side. To run a full show, screen and panel side by side, send yourself the link for a computer.
This is a real, isolated demo environment of the product: starting a show here never disturbs a real screening.
From scan to sync in under a minute
Scan
Every display carries a permanent QR code. Visitors scan it with their camera and enter straight from the browser, no app and no signup.
Pick a language
The selection screen lists every language of the display, including an audio description option for blind and low-vision visitors.
Listen
The audio plays on the phone in perfect sync with the shared screen, with word-by-word captions and fine-tuning for wireless earbuds.
Full control of every screen
You choose whether to project captions on the screen and in which language, whether to show the QR during the screening, and whether to play the audio out loud and in which language. For example, a sound-and-light show the whole hall hears in Hebrew, while tourists get their own language on their phone, separately.
Visitors scan to join straight from the screen. Turn it off for a clean screen with separate QR signage.
Captions projected to the whole hall, on top of the personal captions on each phone.
Play a dominant language through the projector, alongside the personal multilingual audio on phones.
Each visitor's personal phone captions and audio are always on, in any language. These settings only control what happens on the shared screen and in the hall.

Captions and transcript for deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors
Word-by-word captions at the pace of the narration make every screening accessible without audio, in every language.

Questions and answers
What is LingoCast?
LingoCast is a Spotix system that streams audio and word-by-word captions to each visitor's phone, in their own language, in full sync with a shared screen in the hall. It runs entirely in the browser: visitors scan a QR code, pick a language and listen. No app, no signup, no rented audio devices.
How does the audio on the phone stay in sync with the video on the screen?
Every phone and the screen align to a shared cloud clock, so all of them sit at the exact same point of the screening. A visitor who joins mid-show lands at precisely the right moment, and anyone listening on wireless earbuds can fine-tune the sync while watching.
Do visitors need to download an app or sign up?
No. LingoCast works in the browser of any modern phone, on iPhone and Android. Visitors scan the QR code on the display, choose a language and listen. There is no installation, no signup and no collection of personal details, which is what lets large groups join within seconds.
How does LingoCast make screenings accessible to visitors with disabilities?
The system includes audio description tracks for blind and low-vision visitors, word-by-word captions for deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors, full screen reader support with VoiceOver and TalkBack, high contrast and respect for reduced-motion preferences. Accessibility is verified on real devices and is part of the product core, not an add-on.
Which screening modes are available?
Three modes: a continuous loop that suits exhibit halls and runs all day, an on-demand screening that starts when a visitor scans the code, and a live show where an operator controls start, pause and the hall language from their phone, with a shared countdown for the whole audience.
What do we need to deploy LingoCast at our venue?
An existing screen or projector with a browser, your video and narration files, and an internet connection. Upload the content to the CMS, get a print-ready QR code for every display, and from that moment each visitor listens in their own language. No dedicated hardware, no on-site installation.
Can I customize what each display shows on the screen?
Yes. Every display is configured independently in the CMS: show or hide the QR code on the screen, turn on captions projected to the whole hall, and play a dominant language through the projector speakers. Each visitor's personal phone audio and captions always work, in any language, regardless of the screen settings.
Is there a limit on the number of languages in LingoCast?
There is no limit. You can add as many languages as you need, and each language gets its own narration, word-by-word captions, and an optional audio description track. Visitors pick their language from the selection screen on their phone.
Can a visitor switch language in the middle of a screening?
Yes. At any moment a visitor can open the language menu on their phone and switch to another language, including an audio description track, and the audio and captions continue from the same point in the screening without losing sync.
Is LingoCast accessible and built to WCAG 2.0 AA?
LingoCast is built to the WCAG 2.0 level AA guidelines and the IS 5568 standard: audio description, word-by-word captions, high contrast, screen reader support, and respect for reduced-motion preferences. We tested it with VoiceOver and TalkBack on real devices and with automated accessibility tools with no errors. Testing was done by our team, not by an external certified accessibility auditor.
